I Have Too Much Time On My Hands
I love doing the hair for the little girls at the daycare I work at. So far I have learned to Fishbone Braid, French braid... and this one I learned today - A Reverse French Braid. I just can't figure out why I can braid my own hair SO much better than doing it on someone else. Here is the final project.

My dutch friends used to braid their daughter's hair all the time, I am always impressed by anyone who can create something so complicated. :)

I agree, it's way easier to braid your own hair, and that doesn't make intuitve sense. I learned to do a reverse french rbaid in school when I tried to do a french braid and got confused.
I never was able to master the simplest braid.. so this is very impressive!
I wish I could braid my own hair! I have never had the patience to learn! D'oh!!

I could never braid on my own hair...mind you I have short hair...but my three daughters all have long hair and I have french braided their hair since they were little. Even now when they come to visit they come over to me and ask me to braid their hair....
