Friday Flasback... Vrooom

My first car looked something like this, not exact. I wish I had a picture of it. Though I do think I have a picture of me driving it somewhere around here...

Make: Oldsmobile
Model: Cutlass (I really don't know)
Year: 1989 (that is only 5 years younger than ME)
Color: Grey with brown rust spots.
Doors: 4
Cost: $200

What made this car special? Well, it was my first car... and the interior on the inside ceiling had all come down. yes we bought it this way. What did I do about it? I bought sharpies and let my friends draw on the top whenever they were in it :-) I did alot of doodling myself.

We just painted over it when we re-sold it. I didn't have it long(thank goodness), but I made it fun while I had it!

  1. I always wanted a Jeep Wrangler when I was young, but of course my parents wouldn't get one for me...so what did I end up getting? A Suzuki Samurai. It's definitely a wannabe Wrangler, but it was bad ass! I had a ton of fun in my first car.

  2. sharpies...what a great idea! I would have been so sad to paint over it.

My first car was a oldsmobile firenza with a pontiac front end. My dad bought it for me at a car auction. It was white and my dad had a pin-striper put 'Ang' (in script) on the driver side door. (the pin-striper was at our house detailing my dads show car)

  5. I never had a car of my own until I was married. Then I got a mom-van. How depressing! And I wasn't even a mom! My flashback's up, too.
