My first two caches were pretty easy finds. For my third I decided to be a little trickier. I went to Micheal's and purchased a fake cactus. I cut a hole out of the bottom and filled the thing with rocks (for weight). I then epoxied a small Glad container into the bottom and sprayed the lid with some rock/sand looking spray paint....

Okay, that's just plain awesome, lol.
ReplyDeleteI knew you'd be awesome at coming up with clever ideas for cache hides.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good one!
Very cool -- although there are going to be a lot of people picking needles out of there hands from trying to look under a real cactus :^)
ReplyDeleteClever! I love it. Hides like these make me smile because of the thought and effort put into it.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat is downright devious! What's the d/t you put on it??
ReplyDeleteWow, that is an evil one. Would like to do one like this, but I live in Canada, we do not have cactus. It would look pretty bizarre.
ReplyDeletehi from wizzzzard
ReplyDeleteabsolutely stunning!
unfortunately we have no cactus in the field here in switzerland ;-)
Hey! Today was my first time geocaching... So much fun! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteN e how, love your cactus creation... I'm from Canada, and like Nicolas said, it would look bizarre in our wilderness... But for comedy's sake, why not? :-)
