Dilapidation

I always say I like geocaching because it takes you to places you wouldn't normally go to, see or find. Most of the time it's a nice view I'm impressed by - but this time it was old buildings. Some might think they are just crap sitting around, waiting to be torn down... but I think they have a bit of beauty to them. What do you think?

  1. I love the one from Arkansas, and the one from Texas that looks like the front of an old train station. Fantastic pics! I dig old, well worn buildings too; makes me think, "If these walls could talk, what would they have to say?"

  2. I like the history behind old buildings like these. Without it I do see garbage cluttering up land uselessly. It's the history that makes them beautiful to me! These would be cool places for caches though, kind of eerie but cool!

  3. On a side note, I don't Twitter, but I saw your comment about your Garmin GPSr shutting down during startup. My Colorado did that a couple of times after updating the firmware, then miraculously stopped. FM!

  4. I love old buildings like this. I took one in Arkansas this last Tuesday, of course, the picture doesn't look as nice as yours do.
