Earlier today I went down to Benson, Arizona for some geocaching. I ended up with 14 finds. Like always, I had more in my GPS - but I didn't get them all. It started to get warm, and I started to get tired so I headed home after 14. I'm glad I did becuase the hour drive home was rough. I was sllleeeeepy (not that sleepy, I was still safe to drive).

Anyway, I only had two DNFs (did not find) - which was a pretty good day for me. I usually come home with more DNFs than that ;-)

I packed a lunch for the day and sat down to eat around 11am, near a cache site.

Lunch Time

While there, a bee started buzzing around me - and then left. He then returned with 5 of his closest buddies and it was my turn to leave. Luckily I was pretty much done eating...

After the bee attack I made my way to the cache in the park... and.... I FOUND THE SANDLOT.

The Sandlot

Well, it's not the sandlot from the movie (which is awesome), but it is a sandlot and I got a kick out of it.

I also made friends with a three legged walking stick today. I met him in my car, trying to steal a ride.

I told him "No free rides here!!" and brushed him out the door

    Cool critter!

The lunch looks pretty good too; do you think it was the Kiwi that drew the bees?

It might have been the kiwi... but they attacked my pop :-(

This post was made quite a while back, so I don't know if you'll ever read it.

Luckily for you you didn't get bitten by that little fellow. Contrary to his looks. He is not a stick insect, but is a predator bug from the family Nepidae.
