Recycled Coke Bottle Ornament

Walmart had these SUPER cute little Coke bottles for a $1.

Coke!
(Don't look at that picture any harder than you have to. It was a long day of babysitting and I'm trying to grow out my highlights.)

After I drank my coke, I decided to get cRaFtY.

Coke!

While I'm SURE a 1st grader could do better, this little craft was fun and free!! I did this in 5 minutes people. The paint is still wet, give me a break ;-)

I have 3 more bottles in the fridge.... My mind is racing with ideas!! If I can find something to go inside... maybe I'll make a snow globe!

... or maybe I'll just take the bottles babysitting with me Monday so the kids have something to do!

  5. Great idea! I've seen those at the store, too. Such a great way to be festive AND recycle. Have you thought of decoupaging?

  6. I think it would be fun either way - if you experiment with them more yourself, or let the kids enjoy creating something unique. I would love to see what they make though!
