Surprisingly, they are going to fix my car. I'm on the fence... I mean look at it, would you want that back to drive around? I do want a car... but it would have been nice not to have a car payment for a while! lol.
They are doing $12,000 worth of damage on a $16,000 car. I thought my car would be worth less - but it is a 2008. Apparently, everything "inside" is still good. They are replacing the hood, both fenders, the bumper and few pieces behind the bumper, headlights, radiator, grill, and some other things I don't remember! The repairs come with a warranty. They are guaranteed for as long as I have the car - which is good.
Good news is... I'll be up and moving around the new year. Bad new is... I'm expecting my insurance rate to go up. Yikes!
I managed to get a couple geocaches in yesterday. I had my mom's car because I had to go to the dentist. She said I should be able to hit 300 by the 27th (when I started caching), meaning I can use her car! Yipppee! I have 7 left... so I should probably get 6 in one day, and then my final on another.
I'll be getting a little more exercise the next couple of weeks while my car is gone. I'm demoted from babysitter to dogsitter, while the family that I nanny for goes on holiday vacation. I'll be walking there and back every day for at least a week!

Fixing it isn't a bad thing as long as insurance pays for it. I've been through it before...it'll be back before you know it!
I guess that's good news on the repairs not so good on the insurance! Sucks! Have fun dog sitting!
