More goodies from my sister. Most of this stuff is from Iraq...
This is a breast cancer awareness shirt. I have no idea where she got it. Maybe from a run or something there? Anyway, I loved the tag on the shirt so I snapped a pic of it ;-)
She also got me this medallion thing. It reminds me of a geocoin - but it's not one.

From the Box - Part 1
I got some goodies from my little sis! All this stuff is from her NZ trip.
These Socks are cute... but check out the bottom gripper things. Adorable!
I love this necklace! It's a Spiral (Koru) and it represents growth, harmony and new beginnings, peace and tranquility.

Great souvenirs/gifts! Thanks Lisa!

Mmm. Candy from The Remarkable Sweet Shop.

Lisa apparently ate some candy herself. She sent me the little prizes from the Kinder chocolate eggs she ate ;-) These little toys will be great geocaching swag!

Oh yeah and she sent me some $ to add to my collection!

You can see through NZ money!

Great souvenirs/gifts! Thanks Lisa!

Public Mode of Transportation
Because I've been lacking in the car department, I have resorted to walking, biking and even... the bus! Besides grabbing the shuttle on campus in the winter at UC, and taking the Metro bus from the suburbs to the city for football games a few times- I've never really had to ride the bus.
Technically, this is more of a community shuttle than a bus ;-) I have taken it a few times to go steal my moms car from the parking lot where she parks for work. As you can see... it's not very crowded. Nice to know it's there though, you know... in case you ever wreck your car or something ;-)

Do you ride the bus? Have you ever been on a bus?

Postcrossing Sunday - Finland

I got this envelope in the mail last week. This postcard was "RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION"
The edges were worn and open, and taped back up by someone postal worker somewhere. I'm glad they taped it back up - It's nice to have SOME of the pieces. I've seen this kind of card before at the store - and was excited to get one.
I put together what I had... but if you notice closely, all I have of the postcard ID# is the "5". When you send postcards through Postcrossing you put ID#s on the cards so they can be tracked and whatnot. If you get a card with out an ID or a partial ID, figuring out where and who it came from can be hard. There is a form to fill out on the website - and it has worked for me in the past. I'm crossing my fingers on finding out this ID. All I have to go with is the postmark date, a place and the number 5. Usually I have a little more.
I'll let you know if I ever figure it out....

300!
Holy Cow! I have more the 300 caches now.
I hiked Brown Mountain in Tucson Mountain Park Saturday for my #300 and then some.
If you have Google Earth you should be able download my hike by clicking the small blue box below.
It only takes a couple seconds to download - and is pretty neat! If this works, I may consider using this in future blog posts! Click here to download Google Earth.
Yesterday was Christmas!
Mmm look at that plate! Momma said we shouldn't have had all that starch... but its Christmas, who cares!

I got a stuffed stocking too... Chocolate gold coins are a tradition in our family. MMMmm. Thanks Santa!

I wish I had take a picture of breakfast. Pancakes and crispy bacon! Yum!
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! Now...I'm gonna go burn off all that food and run 20 miles now... haha yeah right.

The Grass Couple!!
TRAGEDY struck this Christmas for the Grass Couple....
They went on a holiday tandem bungee jump, whacked noggins and were pulled back up lifeless.
