Texas Canyon

If you're driving on Interstate 10 between Tucson and New Mexico you will pass through Texas Canyon... and you'll know you're in it once you see it.

Your drive takes you through a grassy desert landscape and somewhat rolling hills... and then all the sudden you find yourself surrounded by massive boulders.

There happens to be a rest stop right in the middle of all the beautiful rocks. It's a great scenic stop. Even if you don't have to pee, I recommend stopping to soak in the scenery.

Here is an image that shows you the scale of some of these rocks. Look closely and you will notice a father carrying his son. Yep, These things are gigantic!
