My goal, when I was thinking of something to make... was to make something that I didn't need to BUY anything for. I don't have the extra money to be spending and the craft stash is overflowing a bit ;-)
I made this banner using fabric, ultra firm stabilizer, heatnbond, yarn, bias tape, acrylic paints, the sewing maching (zig-zag on the edges and straight stitch on the top) and a Crop-A-Dile (a tool I bought for a couple of dollars in a clearance bin - I didn't know what it did when I bought it, but I love this darn thing)
I didn't make this banner for any special occasion, but it will be nice to have to put up when someone around here celebrates!
Have you done anything crafty lately?
Mail art here -- envelopes and postcards. I also soaked a lot of used postage stamps in water to get the stamps off envelopes. It works great. Now I have quite a few stamps ready for more mail art!
