Granny Square Update, Again

Well, I've gotten the hang of it. So much so, that I can do a square without the video or my written notes. The only problem is... my first 5 blocks or so have to be redone. They are far too loose, which means they are too big!

And as you can see, I've added some more colors. I was originally going to only do 3 colors... but couldn't help myself when I got to the craft store to pick out the third ;-)

If my calculations are correct, I need to make 120 squares! even if I manage 2 squares a day... it's going to take me a while................

  1. I love the yello starburst center, and am thinking it would be cool to somehow make it into the state flag...yeah, I know...dream on!

Can I have your notes on how to construct the block?

  3. I have always found the hardest part of crochet to be choosing the colors. There are just way too many choices!

  5. I have not seen anyone do that in years. I would LOVE to be able to do that. What a blast from the past! Your colors are much prettier than the one I remember that we had. Very cool! It looks like a lot of work. Is it?
