Stitchy Saturday

I've officially bought out all the 28"x28" Aunt Martha Dishtowels at both Joann Fabrics in town. Apparetly these things are popular becasue even Aunt Martha is out of them on her own website.

I made this snowman towel with intentions of it going out as a gift, but the size when folded was too weird. It folds up to be a square, which.... looks a little weird hanging in the kitchen. So the towel is sitting around until I can figure out what to do with it. I have a couple options... trim it so it folds to a rectangle or attach it to another towel. I haven't decided yet.

I made this set as a housewarming gift for a friend. I find it really hard to give anything away made from the Stitchers Revolution patterns (see HERE and HERE), they are just too cute. I  do notice the iron on patterns don't ALWAYS seem to wash away completely though. It's not something you can see unless you are looking uber close... but it is something that drives me NUTS! I recently purchased a light box, so I think in the future that and a wash-away marker/pen will be my go to.

.... annnd I'm off to hunt down some more blank towels online.

  1. Beautiful. I don't have the patience for such details, and the remaining iron on would really drive me nuts too.
