I brought home a rat from work. He's been hanging around the office since Halloween... and I though he could use some sprucing up.

I may or may not have made him something for Christmas...

Afghan Complete

I stated this blanket back in January and it got pushed aside for other projects and the summer months... Since its a little cooler out and I can stand the warmth of a blanket, I decided to pick this project back up. I was finished before I knew it!

I was going to go all black, white and grey with it... but partway through I just couldn't stand the no-colorness of it. I added one pink/red stripe and finished the edges with the same color. The pattern was SUPER easy, and once you get a few rows in you don't even need to reference it.

Stitches needed are a SC and DC, You can find the pattern FREE here. I used a size K hook, but you really can use whatever you want and adjust the size

Oh, and in case you were wondering:

I have a habit of finishing my projects late at night and I just can't wait until daylight for a picture! So the photo isn't the best... but you get it right? Slippppuurrzz!

I've made a couple of pairs of these and recently talked my mom into making them too. The pattern is super easy and QUICK (EvasStudio). The main stitch is a HDC. I've found THIS website to be very useful for quick reference on different stitches. I always need a refresher when crochet "season" rolls around.
